    Golf
For golf enthusiasts, Mazatlan is a dream destination! Visitors have the opportunity to play golf at either of the following first–class courses: The El Cid Country Club, which offers an 18–hole championship course and nine new holes designed by Lee Trevino; or the Estrella del Mar, an 18–hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones which is located on Stone Island, a short shuttle trip from many Mazatlán resorts. There are two new golf courses being developed at the moment; we will let you know about their opening in our Press Room.

    Adventure
Mazatlan is home to some of the best fishing and hunting in all of México. Throughout its year-round fishing season, one can catch Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Dorado, Bonita, Yellow Fin Tuna and Wahoo. A list of licensed fleets with contact information can be found here. We recommend www.starfleet.com.mx and www.fishingwiththechapman.com. Hunting tours are also a great activity to do in Mazatlan. Duck and dove hunting are the most popular, but several species populate the area, including quail, deer and wild pig. Many hunting tours and clubs are available, such as Pichigüila Club, North America's premier Wild Duck Shooting Destination, located at Chiricahueto Lagoon.

Mazatlan is a fantastic destination for visitors interested in conservation and eco-tourism. Highlights include bird-watching, hikes through the Sierra Madre Mountains, and kayak adventures through the pristine and ecologically important mangroves on the coast. Tours are offered to the El Verde Sea Turtle Conservation Center, as well as to Teacapan, El Caimanero and Stone Island.
